This was begun a while ago but without a satisfactory ending it’s been pending ever since awaiting one I was happy with. Now I’d say it”s done. Well 99.5% done but close enough to be set free. Anything else is bound to be just a tweak.
97.Hypocrites. (22 July 2015).
Be careful on a Sunday,
When you genuflect to pay respects,
To the hypocrite in the pulpit in the frock,
“Hey isn’t it just fags that wear dresses?”
“Shouldn’t we be stoning him to death?”
“You know, him up there?”
“With the big book, at the top of the pointless stairs?”
Says the hypocrite in the pews,
Who loves his mum,
Who brought him up,
On her own,
With three jobs and the family allowance,
But he hates a scrounger,
And folk on benefits,
He knows what he’s talking about,
He watches benefits street,
And he watches ITV’s Jezza,
And he’s always worked for what he’s got,
He’s never taken anything from the state,
“You know what I say” he says,
“It’d never happen in Granddads day”,
“When him and Nan arrived”,
“With just a baby in a bag”,
“Just before we won the War in ‘45”,
“They worked bloody hard”,
“To raise my mum who raised me”,
“And I’m a proper Brit”,
“Who believes in fair play”,
“And I’m not racist, but”,
“Can’t they go elsewhere for a change”,
“It’d never happen in Granddads day”,
“It’s bloody true what the Daily Mail says….”

While I figure out something new to post tomorrow, here’s something old to get things ticking over again.
